Message of CEO

Over the past four years, I stepped away from frontline SEN services to pursue theological studies, deepening my formation in personal spirituality, pastoral care, and holistic support. As I now return to the organization and take up the role of Chief Executive Officer, I feel profoundly that this is not only a calling, but also a commitment to society and to the lives we serve.

 

With one in every eight children today identified as having Special Educational Needs (SEN), the demand for relevant support continues to grow. Yet, the development of an inclusive culture still has much room to mature. Many families and frontline practitioners face immense pressure and challenges. I will continue to uphold our organization’s direction in promoting a people‑centered service model—one that not only supports the developmental needs of SEN children but also places strong emphasis on the mental well‑being of parents, helping them find rest, resilience, and companionship along their caregiving journey.

 

At the same time, I am deeply concerned for the many SEN practitioners who have long carried their responsibilities quietly—teachers, social workers, and pastoral staff among them. In the process of caring for and accompanying others, we often overlook our own emotional and spiritual needs. In the days ahead, we will actively develop support initiatives that strengthen the psychological resilience and holistic well‑being of these professionals, so that the power of care may continue sustainably.

 

I hope that through sincere service, cross‑sector collaboration, and community education, we can foster a more understanding and accepting inclusive society—one in which every life is seen, respected, and able to grow with appropriate support. I also hope that you, who share this vision, will take a step forward and journey with me as a supporter, so that together we may kindle sparks of hope.
